Applying Fade and Zoom Effects to the Title text

Post by JohnBart »

Greetings! :)

I am using Ulead Videostudio 11 to edit the home videos I record. I just recently wanted to create a title effect during which the title text would slowly fade-in and zoom in from the middle of the screen at the same time, then would fade-out while it is still zooming.

Now, my problem is that the title effect menu of the program only allows me to set either a zoom effect on the text, or a fade-in/out... But cannot set BOTH of them to work simultanously. Is there any way to do this in VideoStudio 11?

In a word, no. The only workaround I can think of is to set the zoom for your title, then render it to a video file. Put that clip of your title onto the timeline THEN fade it in.

You can thank me if it works.

VS, like probably most editing apps, has its shortcomings. But almost anything is possible with workarounds. The old "out-of-the-box" thinking as it were.

Let us know if it works.

Yep once you turn it into a video file (best format is AVI) you will
then be able to do almost anything with it.
