Creating a disc, Problems with Naming the chapters

It's been a long time, but again I'm having problems when burning a disc. I select chapters and for example I have three (3) chapters. In the box for labeling each chapter it says 'Enter text here...' I try and try but I cannot get that box to change to edit. I know it can be done, would someone be kind enough to help? Also,
when you create a menu adding chapters, I click 'Customize' and besides the chapter buttons or text boxes, another box appears that says 'My Title'.
It seems to be in the same position as the title I created on the previous page before clicking 'Customize'. Should I leave 'My Title' on the 'Customize' page alone, or should I delete it.
Thank you.

Please update your DirectX -- see the top posting on this Board

As for your menu pages, you have to customise each page, including the My Title (and background and music unless you have selected the choice of applying it to all pages...)

Ken,
The only problem is we live in a very remote area and we only have dialup. Does Microsoft make the 'DirectX' file in a smaller version for dialup users. Otherwise we'll have to wait to download during the night, it will take almost 4 hours with a 56K connection.
Is the new version of DirectX what is causing me problems trying to edit the 'Chapter text boxes', or is there another solution I can use?
While trying to edit the 'Chapter-text box' after many a try, I finally got one box to allow me to type into it, but then it closed and that was the only opportunity to edit I've had all day.
Thanks for your help.

Small but useful updates are often included on the cover CD of a computer magazine, you might find it worthwhile to browse the shelf of your local news paper shop.

The DirectX update seems to correct a number of problems in the burning module associated with building the menus and previewing them. The errors in VS performance appear to have crept in with Windows updates. Given that DirectX is an integral part of Windows operation, I am afraid there is no 'DirectX Lite'. Steve's suggestion is the only one I can think of as well... apart from just doing it the long hard way overnight as you have suggested...

Well, we resolved our problem.
When the chapters text box comes up, I double click on it and then on the 'menu out' box in the 'Cutomize window'. Then back to the text box and it allows me to 'edit it'.
Thank you for your help. I do not think I'll be loosing any sleep tonight trying to download the DirectX file.
We live in Vernonia, Oregon. The town is an old logging town and we live five miles out of town on Rock Creek. Over the Christmas holiday we had 26 inches of snow and no power for a week. Since then and through tonight we been warned of flooding from the run off. A lot of stress that a good night's sleep will certainly help.
Again, thank you.

Glad you got it working, though I am not really sure how you managed it or what the Menu Out button had to do with your specific problem! (Personally, I always disable the Menu Out button...)
And believe me, I understand about the dial-up, though thank goodness I don't have to worry about the snow. I have just spent a couple of weeks at my beach house which is in a somewhat isolated area. I have only a dial-up connection there which is incredibly slow even at the best of times... So downloading anything much bigger than a megabyte or so for an antivirus update is a real pain!
