Text Missing from images on a Video studio project
Using Video Studio 11 plus to edit a short video with some still images. The image already have some text on them mostly at the bottom and top of the image. Before I am ready to burn a disc, I have previewed the images and the text can be seen ok, yet when I play the disc on a tv some of the text can not be seen at it is just out of sight at the top and bottom of tv screen. Can anyone offer any advice.

Do you have them within the Title Safe Area? That is the box you see on the Preview Screen when on the Title tab. If that box is not visible you can turn it on in Preferences.

If it is a standard TV, then every video will lose some of the image all around the edge, usually around 10% or a little more. This is called the overscan area and was caused by the curve of the 'old' cathode ray screens.
In the VS preview screen, if you add a title, when you click on the screen to add the words, you will see that it even includes a frame indicating the outer limit of where you can place the title and still see it on the TV.
So if you are not adding the title to your photos in VS but are using another photo editing program to do so, you will need to bear this in mind and place the title further in than they are currently located.

I think the problem with the OP is that the text is already on the picture (burnt in text
) and although the title safe area still applies to resolve the issue the OP will have to put the still in the overlay track and adjust the size of the pic so that the entire still is within the Title Safe area

After re-reading I think you are right Clevo.
