VS11.5

Post by AZTEC »

Hello

I have just purchased a new beast for video editing projects that is preloaded with Vista Premium 64bit with duo2 quad processor and 4mg memory.

Will I have any problems installing and running VS11.5 on this machine or will I have to upgrade to VS12 to get the benefit of 64bit and quad processors.

Kind Regards

Will I have to upgrade to VS12...?
They have changed the version numbering system, and the current version is called "X2".

...to get the benefit of 64bit...?
Video Studio is still a 32-bit application.

...and quad processors?
I don't think X2 will "max-out" all 4 processors, but it might depend on what you are doing (what formats you are rendering to/from, etc).

So, I suggest that you download the trial version and give it a try.
