Vertroama

Post by nmjeeptours »

I am trying to do a vertorama. Basically posting two photos, top and bottom, to a canvas. I can't seem to re-size the canvas to fit both photos to achieve this effect. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums,

You can adjust the canvas size by going to Image menu>Canvas Size.

I did, and very confusing. Tried several times and can't get it to work. Do I resize the photo first? Do I create the canvas first? Which does not seem to work. I tried resizing the canvas with the photo coming up first but could never get what I was trying to do. Are there any PSP2 tutorials on how to do this? In theory yes, easy, application I have found to be difficult.

Maybe we're not understanding exactly what it is you're saying.

You want something like this?

If so then there are two main ways to do this. And I go over them in this test video that I did. I was originally going to re-do my displacement map tutorial but I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone this way. I'm terrible at explaining things, but a video might make it easier. So hopefully this helps.

EDIT: Sadly at this time I'm removing my test videos to clean up my video list. So if you haven't had a chance to see it and want to let me know and I'll re-submit it. Otherwise it's gone until I come across the topic when doing my tutorial series later on this summer.
