Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 plus import button is disable

Post by bilal »

Is there any limitation in the trial version of the DVD MovieFactory 6 plus software.
When I try to import from my Hitachi camera then the import button is disabled. Is that because the trial version does't allow that or is there any other reason.

The only limitation that I'm aware of is with HD and Blu-Ray. Even with the full version, you need to purchase a Power Pack to have that functionality.

What model of Hitachi camera, and how are you connecting it to your PC? Could you elaborate a bit more on how you're going about this? Some camcorders require using the Insert DVD/DVD-VR command because they record to DVD, while others use the Insert Video...

The camera is Hitachi DZ-MV350E. I tried to import from a RAM-disk from the camera. I am able to see all the data on disk and I can play all videos but the import button is disabled so it is not possible to click on it.

When I start the DVD-MovieFactory then I choose:
Import DVD-Video or DVD-VR files from a disk or hard drive
Then I select the camera and push the import button.
The software shows all the data the disk-content and by selecting one of them and push the play button I am able to play the videos.
I suppose that after selecting a video it should be possible to push the import button and import the selected video. But the button is disabled.

Try copying the files from your camcorder to your harddrive first, then importing them into DVDMF.

It was me, who could not use a computer.
I had to check the square on the left side on every video then it was selected. It was'nt enough that the video clip was highlighted.
Now I can import the videos.

Sorry and thanks for all.
