Importing/using APE custom shapes

Post by prazim »

Hi,
I have some custom shapes I am using in APE that i would like to use in PSP. I wasn't able to find anything in the KB regarding converting or importing these files, nor doing a quick web search. what's the best way to accomplish this?
Thanks!

Is that Adobe Photoshop Elements?

Are these shapes saved in adobe's csh file format or just a regular .psd?

If it's a regular .psd then you can open that like a regular file. If it's .csh then there is no direct import option available. I don't think anyway.

So you either need to save the shape as an actual vector inside of a .psd or as any of the other available vector file formats. Otherwise I don't know of any real direct way to get a custom shape from photoshop to Paint Shop Pro.

Thanks. I'm hoping there's a way to so this as there is so much out there in the csh format that would be great to use in PSP.
