Hi,
I am brand new to PSP and am trying to work with the frames and borders. Once I have added a border or 2 and try to then add a frame on top, the frame isn't positioning equally on all 4 sides, whether I choose to place it inside or outside the image. I also don't seem to be able to select it and manually position it. how can I correct these problems? I'm sure it's something easy.
Also, it it possible to have an area on the side where I can place a window containing the borders, and other graphical elements?
Finally, can I import frames I have in adobe PE format?
Thanks!
Sue

Welcome to the forums Sue,
I've tried to replicate the problem with the frames, however can not. BUT, when I add a border, I make sure that the Symmetric box is ticked. Doing so makes sure that the boarder is applied the same number of pixels on each side. Then when
Now with the Frames, PSP places this as a separate layer. This is so you can manipulate them and not affect the image underneath, well to a certain degree. The frames do place a matte over the image, so when you remove the frame, the matte remains..
To use third party or for that matter PSP Frames, Tubes, ect., go to the File menu>Preferences>File Locations. Here you can add the Location of those that you have installed. If you have your APE frames located in a specific folder on your system, add that folder to the Frames section. PSP should then pick it up. Most of the time with PSP there is no need to be adding those to the PSP folders.

Dear Ron,
Thanks so much. I just installed the demo version yesterday and apparently needed to reboot as now the frames seem to be applying just fine!
My problem now is i have pointed to the folders where additional frames are located, but PSP isn't presenting the images. Do they need to be in a specific format? They are PNGs
Many thanks,
Sue
