"Batch" relink library files?

Recently I upgraded my PC. The drive I had previous video and audio clips on has a new name so now the MANY clips I had in my library from another large project have to be relinked.

I can't rename that drive to match what it once was because I now have just as many new clips in the library from a more current project. I know, DUH! Should have figured this out before starting the new project.

So, is there a way to relink several clips at one time or am I stuck doing this to each file one at a time.

I'm afraid I won't like the answer.

Thanks!

Yes be afraid, be very afraid....;)

Most of the time, when you have a project that contains moved files, just re-linking 1 or 2 will be sufficient, provided that all the clips in the project timeline are located in the same new folder.

However the Libraries are totally different. I'm afraid that you're instinct is correct. You will need to relink each one..:(

VideoStudio does not look for a drive name it looks for a drive letter ( normally C but can be any letter).

Perhaps this could work. Drag all your clips from the library to the time line. Close and re-open the project. Then re-link them and drag them to your library.
