I just installed VS9 Trial and now I can no longer correctly play DVDs in either Mediaplayer or Realplayer (I'm running XP Pro SP2). The picture is fine but there is no sound
When I uninstall VS9 everything comes back to normal. Also I previously tested VS8 Trial which worked just fine.
I am currently using VS7 SE and want to upgrade to a full version so I am testing different products (VS, Premiere Elements, Pinnacle, Edit Studio, ...). I'm now used to VS, had decent results with it so far, the new features in version 9 look cool and the upgrade price is attractive but let's face it : I'm not going to buy a product if it messes up everything else on my PC....
Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.
