Adding titles in between movie clips

Post by George L. »

Hello,

Im trying to edit a video for my family before ther new year and need a little help...

I recorded a continuous clip on my JVC video camera and cut it up into clips in the video track oostudio pro x2. I would like to put titles in between the clips, instead of over them, but I can not move the clips out of the way so there is a space to lay the titles. Corel wants all the clips to be next to each other in the video timeline. I can only move the clips from being next to each other if I move the clips to the video overlay track, but .

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

Welcome to the forums,

Yes for the Main Video track they are to slide to the left to prevent gaps or spaces. So to place a title between them, drag a color clip from the Color Library in between the clips you're needing the title. You can make the color clip any duration, by either dragging the yellow grab handles on the sides, or by typing the time in the duration box. Remember that for video, time uses a HH:MM:SS:FF format (Hours, Minutes, Seconds, FRAMES).

Once you have a color clip in place, then place your title over it.
