Unable to Access Audio Codec Driver

Post by jcafaro10 »

I'm trying to export my movie. I tried exporting to divx and xvid but the audio comes out choppy even though its perfectly clear on the timeline. I tried changing the settings to use the settings of the first (and only clip) but I got the error Unable to Access Codec Driver. I exported as mpeg instead and it worked but I'd rather have it as a divx.

Well for now I'm ok. I took the mpeg file and then just converted it into a divx file and the sound is fine. But for future reference I suppose it would be helpful to know what to do. The source video was a divx file that was a dvd that I ripped to divx and put on my hard drive. However I also used some sounds that I exported from Audacity to mp3 format. Exporting to divx/xvid was choppy and I got that codec error when selecting the option "Same as first clip".

So you began with a DVD and converted it to DivX and then imported it into VideoStudio?
Every time you convert a file from one format to another you risk inducing errors. You need to import into VideoStudio directly from the original DVD.
