Where/how are thumbnails stored?

I am considering uninstalling VS8 for a clean re-install but have various files linked to the thumbnails that are to the right of the main preview screen. Are these files linked by way of a local folder or an .ini file or something that I can copy now and paste back after the new install? I just don't want to have to relink to all those files since they are not all in one directory.

Look in C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\9.0.
The library is contained in the .dat files with names starting with VS_ . Usually VS_Video.dat and VS_Image.dat are all that is necessary.

MikeG is right,... another option is to "right click" on the file shown in your library and then click on "properties"..then go to "file name" it will show you the path to where that file is stored. I have to do that some times, cause I place some of my video files in other hard drives
