Uninstall VS8

Hi all

Just upgraded to VS9. Should I uninstall VS8?

if you want to - it's entirely up to you. You may wish to hold of for a few days till you find your way around V9 - your choice.

You should be aware, though, of a previous thread on this Board, to the effect that if you uninstall VS8 after installing VS9, it uninstalls some files which are needed by VS9. So you either have to then do a Repair in Control Panel > Add/Remove Software (if you have loaded the retail version of VS 9) or do a full install if you have the upgrade version.

I downloaded the upgrade and am waiting for the back-up disc in the mail.
I'll wait for that before i do any uninstall.
