Nothing has changed on my system to my knowledge, but as of early this week all of a sudden when zooming in or out with the mouse roller, the edges of the image workspace window don't enlarge or shrink along with the image anymore. This was a very helpful feature to me and I want it back! I couldn't find a similar topic on this in the forum so I hope someone can help or are at least having the same issue.
I am using Photoimpact 12.0.1.0 with Windows XP Pro.

Image workspace doesn't conform to edges anymore?

Welcome to the forums,
Sorry for the delay in responding...
I've tried to replicate your issue, using PI 12 on my XP machine. I'm not quite sure if I fully understand it though. When I use my mousewheel it does zoom in and out. The window does not expand, however it does apply the typical scroll bars along the top and bottom.
Also click on your Zoom Tool and make sure the box for Adjust Window is ticked in the Attribute panel located at the top.
Do you have a special mouse program, like MicroSoft Mouse installed? I do have it installed and the only way I can zoom using the mouse wheel is to set PI 12 as a program specific setting in the MS Mouse utility. It then messes up being able to zoom back out...

That did it! I feel ashamed that it was something that simple. I had been looking under everything in File > Preferences and the Zoom dropdown in the upper toolbar because I never use the magnifying glass on the left toolbar. I'm not sure how that box could have gotten unchecked. Thank you very much for your help.
