Not able to add video (AVI) to a video project.
Hi, I taken some pictures and video with my camera (Canon IXUS 9501S). I transfered them to my computer (which is a new HP computer, XP) but when I attempted to add the short video clips using the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 plus, it didn't work. I selected the clips (in AVI format) from the folder and click "open". It showed an error message and didn't allow me to add them. I am new to this moving making industry and don't know what to do. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

Thanks for your prompt response. The error message is written in Chinese (I'm using HP Pavilion Elite, XP Chinese, 2GB RAM) but I am not an IT person and I don't know how to translate it in English. It probably reads like this:
Command reference ""Ox30b04eb4" of RAM "Ox00000000". This RAM cannot be "read".
Thanks,

I'm now able to add the video clips. I had converted the clips from AVI to WMV format using Any Video Converter and then added them to the project. I have just made a disc with a slideshow and 8 other short video under a Menu from Ulead DVD MF 6 plus but a new problem came up. I can play the disc with Toshiba DVD player and show it on TV. I can also play the disc in my computer using WinDVD problem. However, when I play the disc with Window Media Player, there is no audio for the slideshow and all video clips. It is absolutely quiet! Only the pictures and video part appear on the screen. I tried it on my Notebook (vista), the same thing happens. If I had made any mistake in the process, it shouldn't work on standard DVD players. I just don't understand. Any help?
Thanks.

Thanks for your advice. I followed the instructions and changed the setting for speakers. It didn't help.
