I'm running Windows 98SE with Pioneer DVR-109 and MF 3.5SE that came with the drive. In addition windows media player will not work in digital mode only analog mode. Any ideas? I'm about to dump the ULEAD software unless I can get it to work.

We have MovieFactory 3, which we have used for the first time this week, we also cannot get the recording onto disc, very frustrating. We are on windows XP.
Having followed the instructions, under the Output section, the diagram shows Recording format with a drop down menu, but on our computer this is missing, and we wonder if that is the problem? and how do we rectify this?
Also when trying to burn the file to disc, it comes up with a message saying disc burner is busy on another activity (or words to that effect), when you click OK, the whole thing go's off.

Using WinXP SP1 and MF3.0 SE
I was never able to burn directly to DVD using MF3.0 SE, it would always complained that there is no disk in burner and the Erase option is always grey out?
I always create a VIDEO_TS folder and using the copy feature of MF3 burn the DVD! Some prefer to create an ISO instead, but MF3 creates a temporary VIDEO_TS before creating the ISO file, why bother since I can burn directly from the VIDEO_TS folder and save time in the process!
What is strange is that MF3.0 copy feature works properly with my DVD burner and the DVD brands that I am using, but can't burn directly
It may be a compatibility issue between MF3.x, DVD burner and DVD brand combinations
I hope this is helpful

Well,well,well !!
Those CD's i'd thought were useless cause I couldn't replay them on my computer, were OK after all!!, took them to someone with a DVD player and they worked after all
However the CD we burned directly from file saved in Quick time, which did work on the computer, didn't work on DVD, said it didn't recognise the format.
The quality of the DVD, after going through the comp onto DVD, didn't seem as good as the VHS video taken directly from camera though.
