Error saving UFO file in PI X3 under Vista HP/64

Post by skyml »

Migrated my Photoimpact X3 to my new laptop and now can't seem to be able to save any files in UFO format... one error is a write error and the other has to do with administrator priveldeges which I am and have (sole user and proflie on this machine).

I don't have the 64 bit version, and have not had such issues.
Vista is a different animal when it comes to security. There are 2 types of Administrators, you're one, and the second one is held only by Vista. Try changing the permissions on files/folders that the Vista Admin holds, and be prepared to reformat and reinstall...been there done that..;)

I don't know if this would have much of an impact, but since you're having problems, according to Corel, Vista 64 is not supported, only XP 64 bit...
