Can one extend last frame in X2 Pro paint on timeline?

I'm making a paint file over a map image and would like to have the last frame extend another 3 seconds. How can one do this? So far I've just kept the mouse in one location and keep hitting mouse button in the paint section. I thought I could open up the files in photoshop but couldn't. If one could just save the last frame as an image file and reinsert it into the timeline the problem would be solved.

I don¡¦t have X2 and not familiar with Paint.

But if you want to copy the frame as seen in the preview window.
First switch to Project Playback
Tools---Save Current Frame as Image,
Will save an image to your working Folder,
A thumbnail will be placed in the library,
Drag to the timeline and adjust duration.
Not 100% sure this is what you want???????????????

The default duration for a paint video clip is 3 secs, however you can change that. Click on the clock icon in the upper right of the Painting Creator window, and the duration dialog box will open. Set it for however long you want your animation to be. You can also right-click on the animation, located along the right side, and select Change Duration.

I know how to extend the time of the painting but I want the painting to quit drawing about half way into the clip. Just extending the time will slow down the painting. I want the completed paint job to show for a few seconds and there should be an easy box to check to accomplish that. I don't feel Corel has got the kinks worked out of this new software yet. Too many things flaky.

Ok have you tried changing from Animation mode to to Still Mode? Bottom left corner next to the Preferences icon (gear looking), is a camcorder icon. Click on this to change modes. That way you could do a still image.

How about this... After you have completed your animation, right-click on it in the list pane on the right, and select Transfer animation to still. You will still have your animation, and now a still image...
