Hi!
I'm using ulead videostudio 11 plus, I am trying to record with mic directly in video studio, I pluged in my mic but I do not know how to activate the voice recorder, what must I do?

First you need to make sure your operating system recognizes and allows you to use your microphone. This is done through the Control Panel>Sounds & Audio Devices. In Windows XP click on the Audio tab, and in the middle is the section for recording devices. Your microphone should show in the drop-down menu.
Once that's done, then in VS, click on the Audio Step button, and then you should see under Music and Voice a microphone icon that says Record Voice. A dialog window will pop up, follow what it says, especially the Start button. Before pressing Start, speak into your microphone, and you should see the meter fluctuating.
