I'm still using VS10 but I'm going to upgrade for christmas to VS2?
Does the new program include much greenscreen stuff and any extras like studios
Where else would I find some news studios to make my own broadcasts with. Can I take stdios from Adobes Ultra and use them in VS2
Thanks

Since I don't use Adobe Ultra could you explain what studios are?

With virtual studios you can make your own news or sports desk broadcasts. The studios can be dropped in behind a presenter on a greenscreen and look pretty real

If the virtual studio is a video clip then you can surely import it into VS.

Adobe Ultra studios don't work in VS. In fact from what I've found out so far, they don't work in anything else other than Adobe Ultra. I understood they were supposed to work in Adobe Visual Communicator, but when I tried, the programme just constantly crashed.
Adobe Ultra essentially provides you with a studio - comprising several different shots/camera angles of the studio in JPG format and also some camera moving shots (ie cranes, dollies etc). These moves are provided in .SMV and .MFX format (MFX as opposed to MXF).
I've managed to use the virtual studio JPG images as backgrounds in VS, but the moving shots from the SMV/MFX ones simply don't work. It's annoying because I'm trying to achieve moving shots using these in VS, but there's no way to do it. With no virtual sets available for VS that I've seen, it's down to just static studio backgrounds I'm afraid.
