Loss the file for video studio 11 installation

Post by Slim »

I reformatted my computer about three months ago. I backed everything up of course, but I can't find file I need to reinstall video studio 11. Does anybody know the name of it or know where I can get it?

The download file is uvs11_plus_(e).exe (if it is the English version). There are also these other files:
  • uvs11_plus_contentpack_(e).exe
  • uvs11_bonuscd_(e).exe
Not to mention the Update and Power Pack you need to download from Corel's website IF you have the plus version...

Just an additional tip.... When I backup my purchased ESD software, I not only copy it to my external HDD, but burn them to CDs or DVDs...

If you can not locate them, you'll need to contact Corel and plead your case. They may or may not be sympathetic. They offer at the time of purchase what's called Download Insurance, which guarantees you a fresh download of the files for up to 2 years. This is at an additional cost, so they may not provide you with a fresh download link...

I have the regular video studio 11. Are you sure uvs11_plus_contentpack_(e).exe is the one I need? That seems like it would be for the video studio plus...

No it's not... I'm not sure the exact name of the file for the vanilla version. I would guess that just dropping the _plus would be correct.
