Well my answer is incomplete as I haven't used text all that much. From my reading, it suggests using text as a vector layer....makes it much easier to change size, color etc. etc. So, to get what you are after, it would probably be helpful to have the font of "Game Masters"... if you need that EXACTLY it may be a problem, but there are hundreds of free fonts and some are pretty close. You can then use Layer Effects on a vector layer (or convert the layer and use any effect you want).

If you are going to use GameMasters as an image, I would imagine you can cut and paste it into a layer. However, manipulation would then be limited to the manipulations you can apply to any image.

Hiya Buster,

When you select the text tool, you'll see in the tool options palette a little drop-down box labelled "Create as". Pdxrjt is right on - if you pick "Vector", the text will be created on a new vector layer and you'll be able to grab the corners of it and stretch it around or double click it to edit it or its colors after the fact, which is useful.

There are a whole boatload of free fonts available through 1001freefonts.com and I bet you'll find one there thats very close to the one in that image if you don't already have it.

When you're working with the text tool, the foreground and background colors in your color palette refer to the text's outline and fill respectively. So a dark foreground and a white background will give you pretty much that outliney look you're after.

To get a bit of a glow, double click the new Vector layer that gets created when you make your text object and go to the Layer Styles tab. Checking the "Outer Glow" box can get you that hazy outer color effect.

Regards,
Alli

Hi.
I'd like to ask something about photo editing.
I made a picture about my girlfirend in a club, it was warm and smoke,
so she had a little leather blush, his forehead and around of the eyes.

How can i remove, decrease the red leather blush from his face?
thx

On the Learning Center locate and click on the Retouch and Restore button, then the Make Over button. Instructions are provided for each tool.

Vidoman's response should do the trick. You could also do some color replacement (very light) with the clone brush and a very light opacity. You may also want to try some slight selective blurring of the areas in question.

The face is pretty pink anyway, wouldn't a small curves adjustment or a hue/saturation/lightness adjustment be better for this sort of thing? Most human skin is a little more yellow than that so a higher value of green with a lower saturation on the red would decrease that pretty quickly. And with both of these being available as adjustment layers it could be done in a non-destructive manner.

You need to go to Preferences>File Locations, then in the left pane scroll down to the Plug-ins. Then in the right pane, add the location of your plug-in.

Maybe that is why PSP does not pick it up.

Do you have the box unchecked that limits the types of plug-ins PSP will use?
