Any body had the CD - Getting Results with VS9?

Post by alanball »

Hi all, I was just looking at buying the upgrade for VS9 and saw the offer for the CD - Getting Results with VS9. I was wondering if any body had purchased it and had any comments.

Thanks

If it's anything like Getting Results with MediaStudio Pro (same author) it will be a useful, task focussed resource. That is, it'll tell you HOW to do things, rather than being a run-through of each of the functions/buttons.

That said, I haven't read/seen this one.

There are 8 video tutorials (chapters) that are fairly good.
They are certainly not advanced.
They are excellent for beginners but even advanced users may learn
some shortcuts to the program.
They cover the new color correction for about 15 seconds etc.

Everytime a new video starts to play the good looking woman
(on the cover) walks up with a camcorder in her hand smiling.
So you have to view that 8 times.

The video is constantly telling you to visit the Ulead Learning Tutorial Center.

Thanks all for your comments, If I decide to upgrade from VS8 to VS9 I might give it a go, but sound as though there is a few bugs in VS9 to be ironed out yet.
