Before I contact Corel, I was just curious if anyone else was having problems unsubscribing from Corel's email lists...
I had to provide my email address when taking advantage of the MSP8 to UVS11 "upgrade". However, now I get up to a couple of "sales" emails per week. I've unsubscribed at least three or four times but they keep coming.
Just curious...

You should be able to unsubscribe, try contacting Corel by email
Far more effective I find, is rather than unsubscribe to individuals or organisations, I screen my emails before they even reach my computer.
I use Mailwasher Pro but there are lots of other similar alternative programs available.

Email was my next step... I've unsubscribed (successfully according to the website) at least 4 or 5 times and the emails just keep on coming.
I know about SPAM filtering. I also know about the Canadian Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) which outlines the rules for permission-based marketing, among other things, within this country, which Corel (being a Canadian-headquartered company according to their website) must abide by. Not being able to unsubscribe from their mailing lists is a major contravention of the act...
Oh well, I'll see what they say via email.
Thanks, Steve.
