I have a Logitech USB Microfone (USB-Chip = AK 5370) under WinXP.
It works very well in Standard-Mode in Videostudio Pro X2 (Stereo).
But when I toggle to 5.1-Mode, my microfone is not supported
(Error-Message: Cannot open Wave-In Device) :-O
How can I use my USB-Microfone in 5.1 Mode ?

This is might be a limitation of your mic's driver.
I don't know exactly how to do it, but I think you can record in stereo (or mono) and then edit in 5.1.

The USB-Mic works with the WinXP-Standard-Driver (really plug-and-play). My old analog mic (over the soundcard) has the same problem. I will contact the support of Corel.

Yes, this is my workaround

don't yuou need five-six mikes to record in true 5.1?
