I downloaded the trial version of PSP9. I've clicked on "Buy Now" then "Other Country" as I'm in the UK not USA or Canada"
The problem then is that I'm taken to a "Find a Corel Partner Near You" page where I can look for but can't find
"Channel Partner
Corel Approved Service Bureau
Training Partner
Technology Partner"
But nowhere can I see a link to purchase the product. I now have 25 days of my trial left and I'm told every time I open the programme that I can buy with a discount whilst using thee free trial.
I tried emailing Corel but I just get a message that "Technical support is no longer available for this product". I don't want technical support. I just want to buy the product.
Why is it so difficult to give Corel my money?

PSP 9 was not a Corel product. It was produced by Jasc, whom was the original developer of PSP. However after Jasc released PSP9, Corel aquired Jasc.
PSP9 has been a phased-out version for several years. So you will not be able to purchase it from Corel. The current release is PSP Photo x2 Ultimate, which can be purchased directly from Corel..

Thank you, but I wonder why I was able to download a trial copy which now says I can buy now and redirects me to a Corel site. I only downloaded it because my version 6 was giving trouble on my new vista computer and I don't have the use for all the features to be worth the cost of the latest version.

Well I don't know why you were able to download version 9 unless you went to a site that still had a copy of the trial. But it would have attempted to send you to Jasc.com which automatically forwards you to Corel.com
Well...considering that all older versions don't have the guarantee to run on Vista I think that if you want Paint Shop Pro then compatibility is more than enough reason to get the latest version. And you'd be surprised at how much the latest features come in handy even on regular edits. A good deal of effort was placed into giving us non-destructive options for our editing. Adjustment layers, good mask layers, and so on. The Express center is very handy for people who just want to get in and out with their photo edits.

If you still have your installation files for version 6, plus the necessary serial numbers then you can still use it on your Vista Computer.Calomax wrote:Thank you, but I wonder why I was able to download a trial copy which now says I can buy now and redirects me to a Corel site.
