Why WinDVD 9 plus blu-ray reacts differntly on different sys

Post by mankhan »

Hello All,

Great forum and great knowledge. Although i'm using WinDVD since the creation of this software, so you can say that i adore it.

I just wonder that I have 64-bit vista ultimate system with 8600GT nVidia and i simply install it without the patch and now its almost arround 4-5 months and every DVD, BD, HD-DVD working excellent without any trouble except BBC HD Planet Earth series where the usual MFC message pops up each time on playback, but sometimes same HD-DVD works as well.

I dont even feel need to install patch. My SPDI/F and all rest of the features are working flawless.

Why is it so that many people have complaints and they might have different hardware configuration. If any system is compatible with the system requirement as posted on corel website then why is it so that each system (which comes under configuration which is OK with corel specification) responds differently. Corel should do something in this regard.

Corel WinDVD blu-edition you are the best, others not even come closer with picture clarity. Since I use 150" screen and projector so i can see the difference while comparing with PowerDVD, etc.

Anyways i hope the next edition 10 will be much improved in terms of user interface. Since computers are much powerful now-a-days therefore WinDVD should not switch to basic anymore while playing BD or HD-DVD and one should be able to use WinDVD color panel instead of using Video card's overlay.

Cheers WinDVD 9...........
