New Button Group??

Post by pdxrjt »

I have looked at the PSP XII Ultimate help file and the PDF that came with PSP XII but have been unsuccessful in finding info. Two questions: 1) How do you name a new button group? 2) How do you add buttons to it? I customize my tool bars and have created my own tool bar as well....but the button groups are puzzling to me.

Either direct information or telling me where to look in the help file or PDF would be useful! :D

TIA

When you add a new button group to a toolbar, right-click on it, and you should see the option, Menu Text. Select the Menu Text option and a small pop-up window will open where you can provide a name for it.

I have done that.... the menu text opens up, I type my text and click okay. However, the button menu remains blank. When I go back to it, and right click, it shows the text, but not while customize is closed. Also, any idea how to actually add buttons?

Thanks for the suggestions!

To add buttons, in the View>Customize menu, go to the Commands tab, then drag and drop the commands to your button group or toolbar.

I know, PSP does not display the name of your button group(s).

Thanks. I was expecting it to show the text....but the new button menu doesn't. The other issue, when I dragged the button onto it, it went next to it.... apparently, you drag the button onto the new menu item when it is open.... then it works fine.

Appreciate your help. But....just wait until I start asking questions about graded masks!!!! :D
