DVD Menus created by PhotoImpact X3 - do they work in VS12?

Thinking buying PhotoImpact X3 to create DVD menus to be used in Pro X2. Two questions:

1. On the features page for Corel PhotoImpact X3 it says:

Create DVD menus for DVD MovieFactory 5 or 6, and VideoStudio 10 or 11.

Is the web page just out of date by not mentioning VS12 or do the menus created with PhotoImpact X3 not work in VS12?

2. Can PhotoImpact X3 create high-definition menus to use with 1920x1080 AVCHD video?

Yes, the menus you create in PhotoImpact will work in all versions of VideoStudio and MovieFactory.

Thanks, Steve. I saw a link in a recent thread that pointed to a tutuorial you did in 2006 about making menus with PhotoImpact. I'll study that and then may buy the product while it is on sale at Corel's website.
