Sphere texture problem

I’m trying to have a word rotate on a sphere. Just for an example on a light blue background write the word ice cube
I am trying to have the word rotate in the middle of the sphere has any body tried to have a word on a texture rotate in from the side.

When I make this texture I have to rotate the whole texture 90 degrees counter clock wise. It comes out close, but not good enough, but when I rotate the texture it make the word look like it’s bending could someone please help me out with this problem
