Proper disc for music recording

Hi all:

First time here and first post.

I have a question about the use of CD-R Music discs. Why won't Ulead Movie Factory 6 plus not record to these discs? I am aware the music discs have a "licensing" code built into them. Is this the problem?

It records beautifully to regular CD-R discs. Haviing spent my hard-earned money for the music discs, I would like to use them for recording rather than dust collectors.

I've never used music discs. I just burn my audio files to regular old CD-Rs and they work just fine.

Is there a specific reason you are using music discs?
