Alludo USER to USER Web Board

Having used the downloaded TBYB version of X2 for the last few weeks without a problem, I purchased the boxed retail ultimate version.

After installing today, whenever I try to load a HD mpg into the library to edit, VS halts and I get the box saying "this prgramme has stopped working" all I can do then is exit to the desktop!?

Any ideas? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same problem... I don't get how the downloaded version would work faultlessly but the retail version is causing problems?

Did you uninstall the trial version before installing the full version? In past versions, not doing so sometimes caused problems.

Certainly did...

This is very frustrating now, X2 retail is completely useless on my machine, you try to do anything like aadding a sound clip/transition, and half the time you just got the dialogue box coming up that it's stopped working and has to close...

Have uninstalled and reinstalled...

Looks like I'll be after a refund and starting to learn Premier at this rate...
