Hey guys
I'm currently using a couple Sony vx2100's and editing avi's with 11.5 plus and having pretty good results. I have a few questions though.
1 I have only 2 audio tracks. Is there a work around for this ?
2 Does the new pro have more audio tracks ?

First, VS Pro does not have more than 2 audio tracks. However there are workarounds that can be used.
1. Use a third-party audio editing application to edit and merge your audio into 1 audio file, preferably in WAV format.
2. With every video track, there is of course audio available. So in a new/separate project place your audio on one of the audio tracks. Then save the project file (vsp). Now in your main project insert>video and select your project file (vsp) that contains only your audio, onto one of the overlay tracks. You can resize the project file down real small, and move it off to one side of the preview window. NOTE: you will only hear the audio in Project mode.
With #2, you could have multiple audio tracks (2 per VSP file), inserting them onto the overlay tracks.

Thanks Videoman, that'll work in a tight situation.
