Settings for MP_4

Post by tony62 »

Hi,
I need to render my Project as a MP-4 video. Files in the Project are AVCHD. I am not sure what settings to use in the Compression box under options. What do the following mean?
M4V-SP
M4V-ASP
H- 263
H- 264- Baseling
H- 264 - Main

Thanks

I have no idea what those various things mean. But when you say you want to render your project as mpeg-4, do you mean you want it to be AVCHD mpeg-4 like the original? If so, why aren't you choosing AVCHD as the output? Then you will only have two choices to worry aboutL 1920 x 1080 with a VBR max 18 mbps or 1440 x 1080 vbr max 15 mbps.

Or you could use 'same as first video clip' if it was indeed an AVCHD clip. Or you could use 'same as project properties; if indeed you managed to set the project properties to AVCHD...

Thanks Ken,
Flash player 10 now supports HD, In U-tube if you submit it as a MPEG-4 file with a high bite rate around 2000 then when it is coded to flash you can get the option of watch in Higher Quality . If you want to produce your own flash HD video then it needs to be in MPEG-4 to finish up with the FL4 format.
These articles explains it better.
