Can VS Pro X2 burn HDV to regular DVD disks?

Hello, can the new Corel VS Pro X2 burn HD DVD to regular DVD disks?

Update: I found a comparison chart on the website, only VS 11.5 Plus will do that, which I do have.

Do you have a player that will play such discs? And I think they discontinued it in VS 12...

Yes I have 3 hd dvd players. I found the comparison chart between VS 11.5 and VS Pro X2, and it does look like it has been removed from VS Pro X2. I do have VS 11.5 Plus which I have yet to install, which I am looking forward to.
I am not yet ready to move to AVCHD yet, I'm hoping it will get better in the future, as I've read it's not really perfected yet?
