Hi VS Friends,
after creating a video file and than burning the DVD and than playing the DVD, the sound is going slowly out of sync up to more than 1 sec after 25 minutes of playing.
When I play the video file everything is OK.
I use the two way pass encoding for burning.
This is the second time that this is happening ( I have anther DVD) , so it is not an accident.
Please advise,
Using VS12

What are your source file types?
Where ddi they come from?
How did you get them on your pc?
What did you do to them in the way of editing?
What did you save them as?
Which video file plays ok?
The captured one?
The one you made after editing?

Hi VS friends.
first an apology, the video file is already out of sync
I did the projest as usually, captured in DVD format from my CAM recorder and than edited the project.
When playing as VSP project sound OK. After creating a video file in DVD format I get this problem that the sound is going gradually out of sync

Hi Graham,
brand of Cam Sharp Viewcam Z.
I am now again capturing the same data with AVI files and see if I get the same problem.
Only with the last 2 projects I captured directly with the DVD format.

In the past, the out-of-sync problem was caused for some people by using SmartRender. However, I haven't heard of recent versions of VS causing the problem. But if you use SmartRender at any stage in your project, you might want to turn it off and see if the problem persists.

Hi Ken,
I have Instant Playback on, so according to my knowledge than the smart render is off?

Instant Playback has nothing to do with SmartRender. The instant playback is just that -- for preview purposes. SmartRender is when you are actually processing the edits you have made to your project. You don't get a view of what is happening during that process.
But when you go to Share > Create Video File and choose your format, the screen that appears will normally include on it a choice to use SmartRender or not...
