Cannot start the capture graph

Using VS11. Get this message when I try to load a photo. Thanks in advance for any help.
Exactly how were you trying to 'load' the photo -- what commands did you use? If the photo was on an external device, how was it connected to the computer? What format was the photo in?
Normally, when I want a photo in VS, I simply right click either in the timeline or library window of VS and select "Insert Image".
