How can I find this forum?? Not a stupid question

Post by screwball2 »

I have just bought UVS 11-5 plus, it wouldn't allow me to load it without deleting Ver 9 & 10 which is a shame. But I just couldn't find this forum which has been a great help to me in the past. I had to google Ulead forum and here we are. Is it in 11-5 ?

I don't know how or why your system requires uninstalling the previous versions. I currently have installed on my XP (HE) computer VS8 through VS Pro X2. Each version is a complete stand-alone program, and does not over-write any previous versions. I have had to reformat and reinstall all the above a few times, and never been prompted to uninstall one of the earlier versions.

There are some common files shared by each version, and uninstalling one version may take some of the shared files with it. This can usually be fixed by doing a repair install on the version(s) you chose to keep.

You could try installing the latest version you have first then install the older versions.

The .5 is usually a free patch that upgrades VS11 to 11.5. Maybe your bought version is different, hence the install problem.
Also Corel now owns VS, so they changed the forum name  .
