Problems with smart sound tracks and VS10+

When I lay a Smart Sound track in my production I cannot play the project. it simply jumps to the end of the project. Am I missing something? I have used smart tracks before without this problem.

Seems a few SmartSound problems have popped up recently. I don't use them anymore, but when I used to I also had some problems. My general fix was, after I had determined the style and length of the SmartSound track I wanted to use, I would go to Share>Create Sound File and render it to a WAV file. I would then replace the SmartSound track with the WAV file and all was well.

I could not get it to make an audio file. I went to share, create audio file. put in a name, directed it to a place in wav format. nothing happened. I have not done much other than transfering old vhs to dvd, nothing seems to be working any more!
