DVDMF Pro 7 bonus SW issue, Win DVD 9 Gold

Post by RickinSav'h »

I'm using Win DVD 9 Gold. It was obtained via my purchase of MovieFactory Pro 7. Part of the bonus software. I've used it before for playing regular DVD's but this evening it starts up and within a couple of seconds I get a message the reads:
STOP
YOUR DISPLAY ENVIRONMENT DOES NOT SUPPORT PROTECTED CONTENT PLAYBACK
For what it's worth Windows media player 11 & Nero Showtime play the DVD fine.

I posted this in the Win DVD forum with no reply for a couple of days now.

Interesting note...The version I have is Gold. The version advertised on the corel web site for bonus with DVD MF Pro 7 is Silver & the versions available as stand alone SW are Standard, Plus & Plus with Blue-ray.

Are you outputting to more than one display (your PC monitor and a TV for example)? If so, that might be the problem.

No dual displays. Just a window on the primary display.
