trying a couple fo things but my overlay video has black borders around them, anyway to avoid this?

Have you resized it to fill the screen? You can make that the default in Preferences or, with the clip selected in the overlay track, right click on it in the Preview Window and choose Fit to Project (if that's the correct wording).

no, I want this image within these 8 yellow squares, an overlay not as big as the image which it is over, to fill up to the edges, or up to these 8 yellow squares, without that black border.

p.s. if I did something wrong and the image didnt post then my comment makes no sense and just ignore, lol

Unless you want to allow the internet community access to your computer, you must upload the image to hosting service, like ImageShack.
