Importing video & images from the library

I want to have a small piece of video playing on one of my menus. I dont want it full screen I just want a small square of video in the corner. I also dont want it to be a button.

I have tried drag and drop from the edit section but of course this just makes it a button. I have tried inporting it to the library and then drag and drop to the menu. This worked.... sometimes! Most of the time it just stretches the video to full screen and is an un-editable background. However, sometimes it drops the video in a small editable box that I can move and scale( which is what I want ). It seems totally random!

Is there anyway I can control how the library drops the video onto my menus?

Why don't you have a button and have the playlist blank, so that it does nothing but be there?

Yes, Sorry! I worked it out shortly after posting. You need to have the button tab selected to paste an editable picture from the library. If you take it from the edit list even if you have nothing in the play list the button will still highlight. This dosen't happen when you do it from the library.
