Yes you can..
Click on the Customize button, which opens a customize dialog window. Now look toward the bottom-left for Matte Color. To its immediate right is a color box, which is a button. Clicking on it opens a color palette.
You can further customize it in that dialog box, using keyframes to adjust the softness (size) of the vignette, change the vignette shape (ellipse, circle, rectangle or square).
