When you say the whole project, do you mean you are creating this scrolling title within a project that already contains video clips, audio clips, etc?

If so, I believe the title effect you are trying to create needs to be made separately, as its own video file. You would then add that to your existing project as a video clip.

Scrolling Title

Post by Ken Veal »

The title is a clip in a project with all the usual video, audio, overlay etc in.
The aim is to create a video file made up of the title file.
With the title clip in the timeline, went to share-create video file- same as project settings-named + saved.
Then it starts to render from the start of the whole project that the title is in and not just the title file ..................Ken

I realize that. That is what you are doing wrong.

Start a new project, and follow the tutorial for the scrolling title. You will use Share>Create Video File to create a video file of the title only.

Then you open your project with all your clips. You then insert the scrolling title video file and put it in an overlay track where you distort the shape.
