THE TIMING IS OFF AFTER DVD BURN

I am doing a really cool slide show that is synchronized to an audio piece that I produced. In the PREVIEW it is timed PERFECTLY. When I go to burn it, somehow the timing ends up falling off. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with this? HELP! This is being put together as gift for a birthday and I am running out of time.

It shouldn't happen in PS3. PS1 and 2 have sync problems.
