Where I can get more goodies?

Post by San_kev »

Hello

Where can I get more Goodies, like Frames and Flash clips
The Trial came only with 1 of each. Does the Full version comes with more?

Thank You....

Good question. In version 6 and 7 I got an "extra's" package when I downloaded the full version. When I upgraded to VS9 (I skipped 8) there wasn't an option that I can find to get an "extra's" package. I was able to import what I got from 6 & 7 into 9, though.

More you say.

But first
Does the Full version comes with more?
When posting, please give us a bit more detail, like what product and version.
Since this is a UVS board, I assume UVS, and because UVS9 is the latest version, I will assume UVS9 (OK a bit obvious  ).

However the news is good, yes, the Full Version comes with quite a number of items. But if all these were added, the Trial download would be much larger, too large for many of us to download.

I can say that I am "wrapped" with UVS9. It has some very nice features. Once I get time to play with some of my Video Projects, I well be very happy. I tried the "Ripple Editing" feature today and this worked very easy. All I wanted to do was insert two extra 12 second images near the front of my project and this saved me much effrort of shifting all my sound and Title clips.

I hope you enjoy, and decide to purchase or upgrade.

Do you have existing Ulead products? or specifically UVS products?

I have copied over some of the images/video clips from previous versions (UVS6, UVS7, UVS8) when UVS9 did not include the older clip, but I like them and have used them in projects and hope to use them in future projects.

From the Ulead Web Site

*NOTEs: 1. The VideoStudio 9 download (ESD) file size is approximately 177 MB. You can get 750MB of free extra-content file via Ulead Smart Download, after you purchase the product.

I'm still considering getting the full version too, but what interest me more are transitions and video filters. Are there more in the full version of UVS9 than in the trial?

YES - I purchased the boxed disc upgrade and it came with 45 (Forty five ) filters and 182 (one hundred and eighty two) transitions.

You can also get other free transitions around the internet for instance the Burger transitions here :- http://www.burgers-transition-site.de/

Sorry, yes, I forgot to mention, I downloaded UVSTrial UVS 9, and my last UVS version is 5, came with my DVDRW driver, Can I get the Upgrade or need to purchase full v9?

Something that you mention after, is the "Ripple Editing" -new feature- if I undesrtood well, whe you add a few sec to the video, move other clips as weel, (audio, text, music)? because, always those last minute changes to the video, screw the rest and I have to move everthing forward or backward to match the timeline. I have to learn how!

Thank You again

You obviously must be, I just put the disc in my PC and let it do a full install - now when I go to the panel to the right of the preview screen and change the drop down to "Video Filter" I have 45 filters ranging from "Auto Exposure" - "Auto Level" - "Average" - all the way through to "Whirlpool" - "Wind" - "Zoom Motion"

I had ran the express download feature -- I forgot what it's actual name is -- and I thought I told it to install as it went. However, I discovered yesterday that it did NOT run everything as it installed. So I went through each one and installed them, now I have a bunch of neat stuff.
I also got the tansitions that were mentioned in a message above from Boris and they work great, too. I looked at the FX program they had and got confused, so I will probably just uninstall it. It looks like something that you can use to make your own transitions, and I'm not ready for that, yet.

I'll look in my VS9 Video Filter library tonight and verify that I have 45 filters. It just didn't seem like that many filters were in the library.

Thanks............ :)

Rich,
Yes, I have 45 filters and, not including the 20 that I got from Burger, I have 186 transitions.

I have just downloaded the latest update on the "burger" site
FxBench. This is another freebie that automatically integrates itself with Video Studio and also Media Studio. Don't confuse FxBench with the free transitions already mentioned elsewhere on this forum

FxBench adds loads of extra video filters which are a cinch to use.
I really liked the "comic" effect
