Alludo USER to USER Web Board

I am using VideoStudio 10 Plus and have been trying to use the DV to DVD Wizard for a project that is about 1 hour 23 minutes in length. After completing the process I checked the DVD and it has only done the first 20 minutes. The next day I started up the PC and tried again with a few changes, such as disconnecting the network cable, disabling the screensaver and disabling any other power saving. The result was another DVD showing the first 20 minutes. Has anyone else had this?
I am using Windows Vista and have installed the Vista update and other updates.
On the first screen I used the Screen detection from 'Current Position' as I want to ignore the first 20 seconds. I did a scan, then clicked the Next button. I chose the theme template 'Straight Cut', and Standard video quality, and in Options I chose 8x burning speed.
Strangely enough my first try had been using the Birthday Theme template (which I cannot edit as there is no button for editing it), and apart from having the wrong template with irrelevant info I had annoying background music. The funny thing was that this burnt the whole 1 hour 23 minute project.
Does this mean the Straight Cut template is faulty, and what can I do?

To rule out any problems with the actual burning phase, try outputting your project to DVD folders.

You can play the resulting folders using your favourite software DVD player on your pc - e.g. WindDVD or similar.

If you are able to get VS to complete the project this way, it will point to some burning issue

If, on the other hand, it still only does the first 20 minutes, the plot thickens....

Thanks. In the meantime I used a workaround by using Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker (as I'm using Vista Home Premium), and it worked correctly by burning the whole project.
