At first, when I start dmf4_upgr_e.exe it seems to be ok. Extracts the files, and starts the install. The first strange thing is that the licence agreement is completely empty. However, I can accept it. Next, my name and the serial number come up ok. Then I ask for a Complete install to the default directory. When the TV Setup screen comes up the countries list is once again empty. However, I can select PAL from the check box list below. Then the install starts, but right at the very beginning, it fails with a message that says that LAYOUT.BIN file is not available. That’s it! I am unable to complete the installation from that point.
I have contacted Ulead Technical Support but am still awaiting their reply.
I have tried ALL the things mentioned on a similar post about this problem but still no good.
I am using Windows XP SP2 and Pentium 4. Previous version, MF Disc Creator 3 works fine.
