installation of vstudio pro x2

I just purchased upgrade: some newbie questions
1... can I leave video studio 10 plus active on same computer
2... Do I need extra software or equipment to use the drawing capabiity?

Yes you can leave your existing version on your computer.
I have all versions of VideoStudio from 8 through to X2 installed at the same time on my laptop.
You do not need extra software or hardware to use the drawing facility.
However..... I would strongly advise the purchase of a pen and tablet.
These can range from fairly cheap - my local supermarket Asda and also Tesco sell them, to more elaborate ones that can cost a few hundred pounds.
What a pen and tablet is in simple terms is something like a mouse.
If you try and outline someone in a photograph with a mouse you might find it a bit awkward. Now imaging holding a pen and drawing around something. The "Tablet" is like a small drawing board and you move your pen over the drawing board just as if it was a piece of paper. It is hundreds of times easier than doing the same thing with a mouse.
You would only need a cheap one - the more expensive ones are for artists who create "paintings" on a computer. (The 'pen' also becomes a paint brush')
